Nice “Padded” version of the Luftwaffe Pilots Badge / Flugzeugfuhrerabzeichen. It has some mothing around the edges but still a great look.

Established on January 19th, 1935 at the order of Hermann Göring, it was awarded to the pilots with finished Luftwaffe education, employees and soldiers, which had before the war the Pilot’s badge or the Aircraft’s badge. Reservists got it, if they had a license for military flying and successfully completed at least one life fire exercise. It was not awarded until one year has passed from the beginning of primary education. After the year 1939, you could get it after nine months. In 1939 it got renamed from the Military Pilot’s Badge to the Lufftwaffen Pilot’s badge.
