First pattern Heer tropical service blouse for an Artillery Obergefreiter. It has stampings for size and depot E41 (Erfurt – 1941). It has an open collar, five button front, four pleated patch pockets and adjustable cuffs. The blouse is made of olive colored cotton twill, belt hook support straps and lining panels are of light olive colored cotton, the tropical pattern woven collar patches and national emblem are factory sewn with the litzen being machine stitched and finished by hand and the national emblem being applied in the ‘zip and flip’ method, including a matched pair of slip on shoulder straps having synthetic piping and field grey wool under panels. The tropical pattern rank chevron and Afrikakorps sleeve band are both neatly  hand  sewn. The eagle is machine sewn at the top and hand sewn around the bottom (often referred to as flip and zip style). It has loops for two badges. True first pattern tropical tunics are getting very hard to find !!!!!!!!!!!
