Finding Your Hat & Ring Size

Finding Your Ring Size:

1/ Find a piece of string or strip of paper no wider than 3/4”.

2/ Wrap it around the appropriate finger in the same place the ring will sit.

3/ Use a pen to mark the point on the string or paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.

4/ With a ruler, measure the length from the starting end of the string or paper to the pen mark.

5/ Use this measurement and the chart below to determine your ring size.

Finding Your Hat Size:

1/ Find a piece of string or strip of paper no wider than 3/4”.

2/ Wrap it a round the widest part of your head where you want the hat to sit. Remember, the hat is a bit heavy, so be sure the string or paper is snug (but not too tight) around the area you are measuring.

3/ Use a pen to mark the point on the string or paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.

4/ With a ruler, measure the length from the starting end of the string or paper to the pen mark. Measure it in inches.

5/ Use this measurement and the chart below to determine your “Metric Hat Size”. Our hats are made in Germany and are tagged in metric sizes. The USA size is provided as a guide and general reference number.

6/ Hat measurements can be a bit tricky, you may wish to take that measurement to a shop that carries hats and try on a hat of that particular size just to be sure.
